First of all, let’s take a look at two special symbols: ‘^’ and ‘$’. What they do is indicate the
start and the end of a string, respectively, like this:

“^The”: matches any string that starts with “The”;
“of despair$”: matches a string that ends in the substring “of despair”;
“^abc$”: a string that starts and ends with “abc” — that could only be “abc” itself!
“notice”: a string that has the text “notice” in it.
You can see that if you don’t use either of the two characters we mentioned, as in the last example,
you’re saying that the pattern may occur anywhere inside the string — you’re not “hooking” it to any of the edges.

There are also the symbols ‘*’, ‘+’, and ‘?’, which denote the number of times a character or a sequence of
characters may occur. What they mean is: “zero or more”, “one or more”, and “zero or one.” Here are some examples:

“ab*”: matches a string that has an a followed by zero or more b’s (“a”, “ab”, “abbb”, etc.);
“ab+”: same, but there’s at least one b (“ab”, “abbb”, etc.);
“ab?”: there might be a b or not;
“a?b+$”: a possible a followed by one or more b’s ending a string.
You can also use bounds, which come inside braces and indicate ranges in the number of occurences:

“ab{2}”: matches a string that has an a followed by exactly two b’s (“abb”);
“ab{2,}”: there are at least two b’s (“abb”, “abbbb”, etc.);
“ab{3,5}”: from three to five b’s (“abbb”, “abbbb”, or “abbbbb”).
Note that you must always specify the first number of a range (i.e, “{0,2}”, not “{,2}”). Also, as you might
have noticed, the symbols ‘*’, ‘+’, and ‘?’ have the same effect as using the bounds “{0,}”, “{1,}”, and “{0,1}”,
respectively.

Passport Tearing at all India Airports – Red Alert

No Comments

Be Careful at the Indian Airports, This is a well organized conspiracy by Indian Immigration, Police, Customs and Air India staff with networking at all the Indian International Airports.. Be careful when ever you give your passport to Immigration/ Customs/Air India staff. The pass port can be easily tampered and can create trouble to you. They have found easy way of making money from NRIs. This is the way it works: At the time of the passenger’s departure, if the passenger is not looking at the officer while he is stamping the exit, the officer very cleverly tears away one of the page from the passport. When the passenger leaves the immigration counter, the case is reported on his computer terminal with full details. Now all over India they have got full details of the passenger with Red Flag flashing on the Passport number entered by the departure immigration officer. They have made their money by doing above. On arrival next time, he is interrogated. Subject to the passenger’s period of stay abroad, his income and standing etc., the price to get rid of the problem is settled by the Police and Immigration people. If someone argues, his future is spoiled because there are always some innocent fellows who think the honesty is the basis of getting justice in India . Please advise every passenger to be careful at the airport. Whenever they hand over the passport to the counters of Air India , or immigration or the customs, they must be vigilant, should not remove eyes from the passport even if the officer in front tries to divert their attention. Also, please pass this information to all friends, media men and important politicians. Every month 20-30 cases are happening all over India to rob the NRIs the minute he lands. Similar case has happened with Aramco’s Arifuddin. He was traveling with his family. They had six passports. They Got the visa of America and decided to go via Hyderabad from Jeddah. They reached Hyderabad .Stayed about a month and left for the States. When they reached the States, the page of the American visa on his wife’s passport was missing. At the time of departure from Hyderabad it was there, the whole family had to return to Hyderabad helplessly. On arrival at Bombay back, they were caught by the police and now it is over 2 months, they are running after the Police, Immigration officers and the Courts. On going in to details with him, he found out the following: One cannot imagine, neither can believe, that the Indian Immigration dept can play such a nasty game to harass the innocent passengers. All the passengers traveling to & fro India via Bombay and Hyderabad must be aware of this conspiracy. Every month 15 to 20cases are taking place, at each mentioned airport, of holding the passengers in the crime of tearing away the passport pages. On interviewing some of them, none of them was aware of what had happened. They don’t know why, when and who tore away the page from the middle of the passport. One can imagine the sufferings of such people at the hands of the immigration, police and the court procedures in India after that. The number of cases is increasing in the last 2-3 years. People who are arriving at the immigration, they are questioned and their passports are being held and they have to go in interrogation. Obviously, the conspiracy started about 2 to 3 years ago, now the results are coming. Some of the Air India counter staff too is involved in this conspiracy.

how to increase google page rank

No Comments

Factors that can increase your Google PageRank

Now the Google PageRank algorithm can be very complexed, but yet friendly invention. Here is a list of things that could help boost you Google PageRank, with a rating scale beside it of how important we think it is.

  • Update Pages Frequently 2/10
  • Add Pages Frequently 4/10
  • Good Neighborhood Directories with high PageRank Levels 7/10
  • Monster Websites 7/10
  • Quality Inbound links 8/10
  • Quality Relevant Links 9/10
  • No Broken Links 5/10
  • Article Submissions (this can increase your PageRank by getting more inbound links)
  • All these put together 10/10

Factors that can decrease your Google PageRank

  • Bad inbound links such as Poker, Porn, Sex, Drugs, or anything to that nature
  • Link spamming
  • Bad Content
  • Lots of broken links
  • SEO Black Hat Techniques

How Google PageRank is Calculated

Okay now we are to the Google PageRank Calculations, this is very simple so pay attention, I learned it over night, not really. The factors about Google PageRank Calculation is that no one knows exactly how it works, but people have discovered over time somewhat how it works, but lets get into an example.

    PR(A) = (1-d) + d(PR(t1)/C(t1) + … + PR(tn)/C(tn))

Above is a Google PageRank algo. that was released in the development of Google algo. Thats right the actualy algo equitation . Which google is not telling us what it does, but that does not matter because the equatation is good enough.

In the equation ‘t1 – tn’ are pages linking to page A, ‘C’ is the number of outbound links that a page has and ‘d’ is a damping factor, usually set to 0.85.

A more simpler way to think of it is:

    a page’s PageRank = 0.15 + 0.85 * (a “share” of the PageRank of every page that links to it)

Share = The linking page’s PageRank is divided by the number of outbound links

A page “votes” an amount of PageRank onto each page that it links to. The amount of PageRank that it has to vote with is a little less than its own PageRank value (its own value * 0.85). This value will be shared equally between all pages

Therefore; it would be better to get a page linked to you that has a PageRank of 5 with 2 outbound links then it would be to have a page linked to you with a PageRank of 8 with 500 outbound links, but don’t get me wrong. It would be better to have both pages linked to you, but if you was to take your choice, think about it.

Now the Google PageRank algorithm is based between a pr of 1 to 10, but many people believe that numbers are set to a algo logarithmic scale. Which there is a very good reason to believe this, but no one knows for sure outside of google, now there has probably been people that have figured it out somewhat, but to be sure, you would of had to write the Google PageRank algorithm your self.

Who invented the Google PageRank Algorithm

Google PageRank was developed at Standford University by Larry Page, and Sergery Brin. This was part of a research project for these two individuals. The project was started in 1995 and then was led to a functional prototype. In 1998, Google was founded.

Chilean IT Industry Makes Significant Gains in 2010

No Comments

(The Hosting News) – Chilean IT companies announced US$3.5 billion in IT revenue in 2010, an 18.5 percent growth over the previous year and a 1.7 percent of the total economy. The Chilean government continues to invest in IT as part of its plan to grow the overall economy and bring outside technology companies to the region. The country is also committed to increasing its services to other countries, particularly the U.S., through government-backed organizations like ProChile, Corfo, Start-Up Chile and Chile-IT. Additionally, Chile’s IT expertise continues to grow through its IT university graduates and workforce, cultivating high-tech education throughout Chile.

“The Chilean infrastructure has strengthened exponentially since last year – the economy is strong, and we are more and more being recognized as a leader in the global market,” said Carlos Fernandez, CEO of Chile-IT. “With cultural similarities to the U.S., time-zone capability and a tech-savvy demographic, Chile is becoming a central IT hub for South America. The government is firmly committed to making the technology industry a priority and we are excited for the continuing growth of the industry in 2011 and beyond.”

With more than 500 IT companies, the country has become an international leader in Latin America for its technology resources and has shaped itself to be a prime market for multi-national companies. Significant highlights from 2010 include:

IT Company Imports: the Chilean government has invested in organizations in Chile, such as ProChile, Corfo, Start-Up Chile and Chile-IT to help grow the IT industry in Latin America and provide them with the resources they need to enter and expand within the U.S. Start-Up Chile, for example, is an organization that seeks to attract foreign entrepreneurs to Chile and aid the country in achieving its goal of becoming a global innovation hub.. Additionally, more than 60 multi-national companies including McAfee, Certifica (part of comScore) and Worleyparsons opened offices in Chile for business expansion.

IT Services Exports: Chile-IT, a government-backed association for the Chilean IT industry comprised of Chile’s top and most established technology companies, is tasked with expanding the IT expertise in Chile beyond its borders and into international markets, starting with the U.S. Since the organization’s founding in 2009, Chile-IT has been hard at work helping its member companies form partnerships with U.S. companies and partners. In total, Chile-IT and its member companies have generated $5M in U.S. sales alone in 2010.

High Tech Education: Chile takes great measures to cultivate its native IT community. The country’s university degrees in IT and number of IT students – currently 55,000 – have the highest growth rate against other education areas.

How to increase Google Page Rank …

No Comments

Top 10 Ways to increase your PageRank ™

NUMBER 1
Use lots of meta keyword tags. Use it WITH Commas. Make sure you don’t repeat the same word more than 3 times in a row. Google only indexes the first 101K of the document – so don’t use TOO many.
NUMBER 2
Make sure you include at least one link to Google. They need quality traffic as well. Don’t be greedy and hog it all to yourself. This can do wonders for your pages. Remember – Google may be going public soon – so the more traffic you send them the better.
NUMBER 3
Use invisible text but make it close – colors like 00FF33 & 00FF66 are both browser safe, but are so close most humans can’t tell the difference. Even though Google has over 50 Phds on staff – none of them probably know this – so use it – the bottom of the page is a good place – right above what you will learn in number 4. Use your mouse to highlight what is written in the box below to see what I mean.

SEE IT IS INVISIBLE

Table above using <td bgcolor=”00FF33″><font color=”00FF66″>

NUMBER 4
Dots, Dots, and More Dots. Put them at the bottom of your document like this:
………….
Then link each one to your pages – make sure you link one to Google and for good measure another to Yahoo. Don’t link to other sites (other than your own) that aren’t search engines. Don’t even link to sites that used to be search engines – like AltaVista.
NUMBER 5
This tip is probably the most powerful one on here. Make at least three pages on your site and link them as follows:
Page 1 >>>>>> Page 2
Page 2 >>>>>> Page 3
And this is the kicker
Page 3 >>>>>> Page 1

Google will give points to page 2 from page 1, then to page 3 from page 2, and then – if you link it back to page 1 – it starts all over again. I can’t even count how many points this will end up giving you. Just don’t abuse it too much – or the big sites will complain you are taking too much PR from them.

NUMBER 6
Use H1 Tags for your entire page (except the title and other header information). You can use CSS Style sheets to make them look smaller and Google will give you bookoo points for having everything so big on the page (even though it doesn’t look big to the user).
NUMBER 7
Submit early and submit often. I prefer to submit on a Sunday. That way – on Monday morning – the Googleplex will be swamped with so much to do – my submits will slip by. See the Googleplex hard at work. Would you work to ban submits if you could get FREE goat cheese (especially after doing two days without). Wouldn’t you rather play “chopsticks” on a grand piano while getting a massage? Or look at pages all day of Britney Spears?
NUMBER 8
Link back too other people linking to your page using link:www.example.org.
This is similar to the technique in #5, but not as powerful.
NUMBER 9
Be careful spelling. Words like “PENS” and “ANGINA” can easily be mispelled to be words of the male and female anatomy respectively. This will cause Google to mistake your site for an ADUL† Site – and get it banned. Noticed how I used a special character to look like the letter “T” in the word before site. Use clever tricks like this throughout your documents.
NUMBER 10
If all else fails – mail a 10 spot wrapped inside a number 10 envelope (make sure you wrap one layer of aluminum foil around it). Write your URL above the serial number on the front. If it won’t fit, then that’s THE problem – as Google hates long URLs.
